Common questions

Salesforce for manufacturing.
Your questions answered.

Talk through your requirements ↗
How can Salesforce support a manufacturing business?

Salesforce can connect customer relationships, opportunities, partner activities and service workflows. Relevant information from ERP and operational systems can help teams understand orders, commitments and next actions without recreating every system in CRM.

Do we need Manufacturing Cloud?

We assess your account planning, sales agreement, forecasting and service requirements against your current Salesforce setup. Manufacturing Cloud may fit industry-specific needs; products and licenses are confirmed as part of the solution scope.

Can you integrate Salesforce with SAP or another ERP?

Yes, subject to available interfaces and access. We define the records and processes to connect, the system of record for each data type, synchronization frequency and the way errors are handled.

Will Salesforce replace our production planning or inventory system?

The agreed architecture defines each platform’s responsibilities. ERP, manufacturing execution and inventory platforms can continue to manage their core operations, while Salesforce brings selected context into customer-facing workflows.

Can you support sales agreements and account forecasting?

We can assess agreement tracking and forecasting workflows using the appropriate Salesforce products. The design depends on the measures you need, the available order data and how your teams review and update forecasts.

Can you connect dealers and after-sales service teams?

We can configure partner relationship and service workflows around your operating model. Scope may include request routing, asset context, partner collaboration and reporting, with access and product requirements agreed during discovery.

Can you improve our current Salesforce org and support it afterward?

Yes. We can review data quality, configuration, integration and system performance, then prioritize improvements. Training, handover and managed support are agreed around your teams and ongoing responsibilities.
